So now we have the pattern:
-the M&E industry solicits or eagerly accepts videos and anything else that can be turned into a reputation-destroying story about a white woman
-people hunt "Beckys" and "Karens," hoping that their videos will be a
tickets to fame and fortune
-the media descends upon a white woman, unapologetically intent on ruining her life, publishing article after article and broadcast after broadcast
-academics are asked to give their historical perspective to lend credence to the entire nauseating spectacle
The M&E industry has had a bounty on white women for 2 years.
From the October 22, 2018 Washington Post article:
From "wasn't designated for charcoal grilling" to "dedicated grill zone" by the same newspaper in 3 days.
Here's another quote from the 2nd article:
__________
The idea here is that making white women the objects of public scorn, online harassment and probable offline stalking is too genteel a response.
After two years of the M&E industry's post-Me Too war on women, the media hit paydirt with the Cooper incident and its temporal proximity to the murder of George Floyd.
After Me Too, the media had to stop using its front page articles and broadcasts as coded jokes about vaginas, so it started using racism as its shield to continue to persecute women, one ruined life at a time.
Now that the Democratic Party has normalized sexual assault, who knows what's next?
You know what I think is next? I think that white women are going to be sexually assaulted by black men, and those men are going to get away with it.
One misogynist day at a time.
There are a lot of nice, black men. Christian Cooper is probably a nice guy most of the time. However, the allure of an M&E-supported, Internet trend is just too much for many people to resist. He got the video he was looking for, and it made him and his sister stars.
There are also black men who aren't nice at all, and who think that transferring their unchecked abuse of black women to white women is equality, is what they're owed.
It's now open season on women. White women are going to be too scared to call the police, and black women already were.
