What the police said was "We believe you, we just can't find the evidence."

That's because the Cambridge Police Department, in the middle of MIT, the world's most famous, most prestigious institute of technology, don't know how to look for hidden, illegal cameras, and THAT'S because criminal voyeurism is most prevalent against women and the impoverished and is therefore not a concern of the criminal justice system, the government, corporations, or anyone else who has a lot of power.  It's also because the media has been promoting and participating in these crimes for a decade instead of reporting about them and how destructive they are.

The media thinks it's funny.  The entire conglomerate thinks it's funny.
