Apple TV and YouTube

That's at the first page of YouTube today, as if Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon aren't my age and two of the biggest "Karens" who ever lived, like every woman of any color who has participated in the conglomerate's bullshit for a decade and counting.

Source documents

They are crucial for knowing what the real stories are.

Fortunately, more people than the media considers important already know that and they do their own research, or they don't even bother with the media.

Black people are no better than anyone else.

They're not better.  They're not worse.  They are human.

I realize that fundamental sameness to people of every other race doesn't tend to be part of black empowerment narratives, but it should be.

White people, while still advantaged, are not the source of every problem that a black person can have.

It's time to address violence against black women and children.

When black women feel supported by their communities and the rest of the world for talking about all the violence perpetrated against them, including violence perpetrated by black men, hopefully the merciless hatred of white women which some black women have can stop being used as their emotional refuge.

When all black people feel that they can discuss child abuse without stigmatizing their race, then fewer black lives will be warped by it.

What if Mr. Cooper didn't have a Harvard degree?

Would the media be all over him?

"Ooh, a black, Ivy-League-educated birdwatcher, how atypical!  Mr. Cooper, you are the perfect victim that we never knew was possible!"

Go to a goddamn jail/homeless shelter/mental institution/rehab and talk to everyone there, black and white and everything else, about how life put them there.  Don't forget your mask and hand sanitizer.

Stop making Amy Cooper your bogeywoman.  She had a job.  She paid her bills.  She adopted a dog from a dog rescue.  Now her life is shattered.

Blaming individual, white women for institutionalized privilege

From Google:

"I'm not unhappy that her life is being torn apart," says a black, male Ph.D.

This is dishonest, white-hating, violence-inciting, misogynist bullshit, brought to you by Newsweek.

The entire incident was a petty attempt by Christian Cooper and his sister to make their day more interesting.  Mr. Cooper has had some remorse over it, but not enough to undo the damage.  His sister has none at all.
