President Trump, the way that you have addressed the allegations against Judge Kavanaugh is the most individually reprehensible thing that I have known you to do since your election.
It is selfish. It is cruel. It is dishonest and coercive.
This is the end of it for me. If what you wanted was a final excuse to attack me with everyone else, I think you have it now; no pangs of conscience for you while you throw away even the pretense of being something other than a smug, vicious chauvinist who protects liars and endangers the lives of their victims.
"The country" is not with Judge Kavanaugh all the way. That's also a lie. This is going to haunt you, and it's going to haunt the Republican Party. This is a turning point, and you'll regret it.
