Amateur foreign policy question

Is the United States going to have to go to war in Syria?

In a week, we have lost two allies: one which we threw away as if the thousands of lives which had already been given to serve our interests and in place of American lives were nothing, and the other which we allowed to turn into an invading force.

Now the Kurds have turned to Mr. Assad's government for protection, which we knew they would.  When your only options are death or alliance with a torturing, murdering, genocidal dictator, which do you choose?

Because of what has happened during this past week, is the United States eventually going to have to go to war in Syria against:

-Assad's military
-Russia
-Iran
-Turkey
-Isis (again)

I think that maybe only President Trump's resignation is going to send the message that the United States can be trusted.

I'm sorry, President Trump.  This is not how I wanted things to be.  You have hurt too many people for no reason now.  I know that you were badly advised, but it is your responsibility to listen to the right people and to make the right decisions.

I hope that I am permitted to say that it's all heartbreaking.  To think about what those people felt when they knew that they were betrayed.  To witness a man whose intelligence and goodness of spirit were warped by the worst things in our culture; that's how I always thought of you, President Trump.
