Did Senator Sanders ask a boxer to be part of the proceedings to offset his endorsements by Congresswomen?
Did anyone know that you have to scroll through almost the entire first page of Google results for "offset" before there's a definition of the word? Everything else is about a rapper named "Offset." That's not the only example of this displacement of priorities by information sources; there are other words whose definitions have been replaced by results for celebrities.
Why does Senator Sanders continue to be affiliated with symbols of supercapitalism? American celebrity of any kind tends to be the worst of everything that is bad about capitalism. I'm not a socialist, nor is it necessary to be one either theoretically or in application to recognize when rich and famous people can do whatever they want or when a politician is saying one thing and doing another.
