I wish that I couldn't believe that the Washington Post suspended a reporter for Tweeting about Kobe Bryant.

Unfortunately, I already have some experience with how that newspaper thinks about rape reporting.

Although the Post has lifted its suspension, it's still criticizing her when it ought to be apologizing.  The entire episode is outrageous and terrifying.

Presumably, the Post has at least heard of free speech.
