I'm from Vermont.

I was born in Vermont and I lived there for most of my life.

Despite everything that the conglomerate has done to worsen women's lives everywhere, Massachusetts is better for women than Vermont is.

I would support Senator Sanders if I could.  I grew up knowing who he was; I probably met him when I was a kid.  Vermont professionals are a small community; most of the adults whose houses I grew up visiting probably either knew him personally or had met him.  Since they were people who talked about politics and other local and world issues, I heard his name in those discussions.  Those people weren't name-droppers or braggers; I was over 30 before I realized how many important people I knew or had met.  I'm not enjoying this additional break from the state which was always my home, where ultimately I could not survive or thrive; it's painful.  I also know that he has wanted to be President for decades.  I don't like preventing people from attaining their goals.  I know what it's like to hope for something all your life and have it elude you.

Senator Sanders doesn't support women enough.  He doesn't, and the country and the world are in dire need of someone who does.

If Senator Warren is elected, I'll keep my distance from her White House the way that I keep my distance from the current White House and kept my distance from the one before it.  I won't accept favors.  Despite how terrible my life is, I know that it's an honor that what I write is read by Presidents and Presidential candidates.

Government is interesting.  Politics are awful.
