My emotional connections to celebrities who have abused me should be taken as signs that I really am being abused and not as signs that I am an enthusiastic participant in what degrades me or a liar about anything. I'm not maliciously trying to besmirch reputations with false accusations.
My situation fits an abuse pattern. The response from observers that it's not abuse because I can humanize those who dehumanize me is a stereotyped, victim-blaming response.
You can try it. You can try what I have lived through and then decide what to think of me.
I don't owe to anyone to show up on a doorstep crying. It's bad enough that I'm being abused and have been abused by so many people for so many years. Nobody has the right to say how I should be dealing with being abused, especially because I specifically ask for the help that's needed and it is never given.
