Why?

Why do I have a place to live?

Why aren't I starving or freezing to death?

Why don't I live in fear that my apartment building is going to be bombed?

Why do I have all of that, while there are people who don't?

It's not because I'm smarter, work harder or am a better person than people who are treated as if they are disposable, unavoidable casualties; thousands and thousands of people who have no options.

It's as if it's not happening at all.
