If anyone has said "I never said that" about me to anyone, I haven't heard about it.
Also, if I can manage not to be evicted from the apartment that I have now, it will be the only apartment, of 4 since 2007, which I won't have left by being abused, lied about and evicted. In 2007, the abuse wasn't voyeurism; I never thought a living situation could be worse than what that was, and I've been sadly proven wrong since then. Being poor is dangerous; everyone knows that you can be exploited.
After reading the article, it does seem that Ms. Reade is not a born genius with money and perhaps had a grudge against the world for a while. I went through some shocking experiences at a time in my life when I wasn't prepared for them, and after that did forget every so often that hitting people is a bad idea. You'll have to ask them if they would rather have had me leave them with unpaid bills than to be socked across the face.
A cruel world can be difficult to care about, even when you try; sometimes especially then.
Trauma can also make it very difficult to make good decisions. Eventually I learned not to put myself in situations where I might end up so angry that I could hit someone. That took a long time. As for being very poor; that's definitely not over, and not only am I not lying about what's happening to me, my poverty has made me unable to stop those who target me for abuse AND I have paid my rent every month in every apartment where I've been criminally victimized by voyeurism for the amusement of wealthy people and powerful organizations. I paid all the costs for storage for a total of 4 years of homelessness that were directly caused by my being evicted in retaliation for objecting to the presence of hidden, illegal cameras in 2 separate apartments. Since buying my first smartphone in 2014, I have paid all the bills for two 21st-century gadgets in a row that the same wealthy people and organizations have hacked for their amusement and frequently used to ridicule, degrade, threaten and otherwise emotionally torture me. I could mention additional instances of my paying while immensely wealthy people and groups invade my privacy and accuse me of being a manipulative liar; they know what those situations are.
