President Trump

Why don't you shut down PornHub today?  Shut it down, and start a task force to eliminate pornography from the Internet.

The human species won't die out as a result.

I know that there will be people saying that it's censorship; that excuse has been taken to such an extreme, and legislature has ignored what's going on for such a long time, that sex trafficking is being conducted with impunity and abduction/rape videos are uploaded and circulated every day.

I was never a porn consumer.  I didn't even know that there was pornography online until I started looking for the illegally filmed videos of me in 2012.  I stopped trying to find them after a few weeks; I was too disgusted, and it was too depressing to think about people watching videos of me, being amused by my degradation.

I have been brutally, viciously abused, and so have many other people.  As long as there is pornography online, there will always be videos of victims of sex trafficking and other abuses at porn websites.

I'm sure that there are porn consumers and naive advocates of the First Amendment at all costs who will have a problem with a prohibition on Internet pornography.  Maybe there should be a vote, a contest between those people and everyone who has been a helpless victim, or maybe everyone who has ignored these issues even while using the Internet and celebrity platforms to get votes can finally take responsibility for ending this scourge and letting the public out of the enslavement of fear and extortion.

A lot of porn stars leave the porn industry and try to advocate against its abuses.  For those who are happy with their careers, eliminating Internet pornography means more money for them.

The availability of porn websites encourages young people to make bad decisions that can haunt them for the rest of their lives.  Shame is not the issue, although shame is a major social factor.  Morality is not the issue, although the governmental neglect that has allowed pain and suffering for decades is immoral.  Safety, both physical and psychological, is the issue.

Parents can't protect their kids from Internet porn; it is everywhere.
