It doesn't matter how much talent I have. The industry is segregated by gender.
Even more than other industries, the entertainment industry only has a few roles for women. You're not supposed to be a writer. You're not supposed to be a director. You're not supposed to be someone who makes consequential decisions.
Although the female stars don't tend to be paid as much as the men, they are paid so much more than women in most other professions that it is very difficult for them to understand how their perpetuation of stereotypes and derogatory ideas about women hurt women everywhere.
The industry's lack of educational requirements means that a lot of stupid people are in charge of it.

Did those supremacists stop and apologize, or did they laugh, get angry, accuse the black man of trying to take over the world, violate his body, and use him as an example of what would happen to other black men who objected to being abused?
