Megyn Kelly

Why don't you talk about gas lighting?

Why don't you talk about stigma?

Why don't you talk about the horrific side effects of psychiatric medication and about how ineffective it frequently is?

Why don't you talk about how severely punished people who refuse to take medication are?

Why don't you talk about being vulnerable to abuse for the rest of your life, by everyone who feels like abusing you?  Why don't you talk about not being able to stop people who are abusing you because they just tell everyone that you're crazy?

Why don't you talk about what it's like for all of your relationships with other people to be distorted by the power dynamic of you being labeled as being mentally unstable when they're not?

Why don't you talk about what it's like when other people are being totally unreasonable and you're not, but they think they're right, and so does everyone else, because you're labeled and they're not?

Why don't you talk about it finally being less excruciating to live as far away from society as possible than to continue to live as a last-class citizen in every way, socially and professionally?

Why don't you talk about how the movies about mental illness never talk about those things, how most of them perpetuate the stereotypes of "the mentally ill" either being harmless and useless or dangerous?

Why don't you talk about how "the mentally ill" are, statistically, far more likely to be victims of abuse than the average person?
