Thank you.



I'm not positing an opinion about the candidates, although of course I am a Democrat.

I think I know the direction that the President's thoughts are taking about Latin America; I hope so.  I appreciate it.  

It's not fair to blame mismanagement or corruption on the most disadvantaged people who are harmed by those things. There has to be a way to make Latin America livable for Latin Americans, and to help those in places there that aren't livable to be safer while they contribute to the healing and the health of their countries.

To be honest, probably a lot of people who think that they don't have options other than to try to live in the United States aren't that skilled at survival in their own countries.  They might not know what they are capable of, not having had the resources to develop their abilities.  It could be that their only perceptions of the U.S. are that everyone is happy here and that it's a life of instant material bliss; those tend to be the perceptions that advertisers try to inculcate in everyone, American or not, about products.
