Some online publications are quoting Quentin Tarantino as saying his Manson film is his "most personal film."
Hey, I make personal films every day. Nobody has asked me if I want to star in them or even if I want to have a supporting role or be an extra. I was never offered a salary; it's all charity work, for the purpose of helping privileged people to feel superior.
A lot of other people are making these personal films every day, too. They weren't asked for their consent or offered money, either. They don't know that they're being filmed. If I tell them, they will think that I am paranoid.
I figure everyone who's watching likes to rate all the women (and possibly men) being criminally victimized. Rather than think "I am committing a crime. This is a horrible betrayal of the public trust," it demands less of their conscience to think about all of the victims in terms of their body parts.
Maybe they wince sometimes when they're watching illegal film of elderly or disabled or very overweight people; it has to be more difficult for them to tell themselves then that their victims would be flattered if they knew. However, it is really a testament to the power of denial that so many people can be committing such a disgusting crime for so long and not feel bad enough to put a stop to it.
Actually, the longer that it continues, the more they seem to think it's normal. My protests, of course, have been the background noise to so many of their amusements for so many years that it wouldn't even be as fun for them if I weren't mad about it.
One of the articles quoting Mr. Tarantino says that he dropped out of high school when he was 14. You hear similar stories a lot about the entertainment industry and the "geniuses" who make their money from it. Yeah, all us chumps, out here trying to finish school and work at jobs that have rules about how you're supposed to treat people. We should have known that the really smart and worthy people, after dropping out of high school, were going to end up multimillionaires and watching us take showers and use toilets.

I don't have millions of dollars to protect my image, the way that celebrities do, and it shows. Here are quotes from Carey Martell, one...
