That's the message being sent by all the D-Day celebrations which fail to mention the genocides that happened before and after WW II, and which fail to mention that nations which call themselves democracies are lying down and whimpering while dictators take over the world one smaller country at a time.
It's pathetic. The biggest problem that Americans and the places to which we have successfully exported our culture for years have is obesity.
