Before the "Popular shows" picture is superimposed on the ad, it's a dog on a couch, holding a bag of chips between its lower legs while it chomps and watches TV. The voiceover is singing "Find your happy place."
This is the address of the first page that I wrote about the ad, right after I first saw it on September 4th:

So, how did magazines for men which featured naked women make money before free Internet pornography eviscerated their sales? By calling the men who bought them a bunch of horny, ugly, stupid, socially inept slobs, or by selling the idea that the women in them, young and beautiful, were eager to serve their desires?
It was profitable to destigmatize male masturbation. Since men, as a group, had all the money and political power when those magazines were first being published, it was not at all profitable to publish similar magazines for heterosexual women with pictures of young and beautiful men. To do that would be to offer a counter-narrative to what was being used to sell men's magazines. Even a horny, ugly, stupid, socially inept slob, standing there contemplating the purchase of a men's magazine, could have done the math about who the young, beautiful women in it would rather have sex with if a women's magazine with young, beautiful men were right next to it. Said slob was already being confronted with that knowledge every day in reality; why would he buy it as a fantasy if it weren't marketed as if it were the truth?
That is my theory, catalyzed today by the advertising and marketing departments of Google, YouTube, and every other corporation which is exploiting me yet again in this ad.
I hope that reading this page helps everyone who has pounded me with the message "You don't have to feel bad about being filmed without your knowledge or consent. Don't be embarrassed; you look good! I got off on watching you," to stop resenting me for my years of angry rejection of that message.
