This is shamefully simplistic, Senator Paul.

It's a few other things, also, such as not factual, verging on racist and in denial about the way that the Kurds have not only served U.S. interests in Syria but sustained loss of life in the thousands in lieu of American troops.

Nobody wants to declare a war, except for Mr. Assad, who already declared it on his own people; that wasn't "hundreds of years" ago. Also in the category of war declaration is the Turkish government, as of the last 24 hours.  Turkey is invading another country with the clearly stated goal of taking control of part of it.

"Islamic rebels"; you're declaring a war of apathy on them while they're tortured and murdered.  Since they were first protesting and then fighting for democracy, I am curious as to why you think your Tweets and other publications about these issues are a form of anti-terrorist propaganda.  I would think supporting Muslims who want to live in their own countries and to have those countries be democratic would be a priority for you or anyone else who purports to hate war.

You are this close to calling them all dirty little Arabs who can't stop fighting and whose motives are and always were unintelligible to rational white people.  I know that you can't and won't say that in so many words, but it's unmistakable.
