Mr. Pitt doesn't have children with Ms. Aniston. He has children with Ms. Jolie. He was also with her for longer than he was with Ms. Aniston. I don't suppose that occurs to anyone who wants to gloat over Ms. Aniston's success.
Ms. Jolie wasn't at the awards show; presumably she wasn't invited.
Was giving awards to Mr. Pitt and Ms. Aniston on the same night meant to boost ratings and give people something to talk about?
I can't help recalling that, a few months ago, Justin Timberlake's flirtation with a much less famous female costar was met with some blaming of his wife, Jessica Biel, who was called "insecure" after having had a child. What are the rules for infidelity in the entertainment industry? The man is always right? Mothers are ugly and ridiculous? Women cheat; men are merely stolen?
