I'll tell you what it's really like to be diagnosed with a mental illness, whether or not you are mentally ill. It means that people can do anything they want to you for the rest of your life and nobody will believe you.
Also, the trailer depicts two older black women negatively, one an admonishing mother and the other a cruel, indifferent therapist and then has Joker kissing a beautiful, young black woman, again reinforcing the idea that the only acceptable roles for black women are sexualized. They can't protect their children from white men on the bus. They can't decide who their clients are going to be. They don't have the right to say no.
