It's not surprising.
You'd think that the cost and difficulty of having allowed chronic homelessness to continue in the Boston area for decades, illustrated by the coronavirus situation, would finally have convinced them that there's something wrong with the system.
I'm not arguing with the construction of temporary facilities, but why has there been a reallocation of funds away from housing? That's where the government chose to take the money from?
