As of the last 24 hours, the Democratic Party and the cringing, servile, mainstream media have no credibility left at all. None.
The statute of limitations is expired. Vice President Biden cannot be prosecuted for what he did. There was nothing to lose, and a lot to gain, from an honest, fair treatment of Ms. Reade's allegations.
What does the media think? That it's the only voice in the universe, the way it was 30 years ago, that its manipulations and biases aren't totally obvious?
How braindead do you have to be? The predictions that Secretary Clinton was going to win were wrong, and the media had no doubt that she was going to win. That's because, despite the endless rhetoric from everyone about what "the American people want," everyone has forgotten that most of all, people everywhere don't want to be talked about and talked in front of as if they are stupid. You can even call people stupid to their faces and they'll forgive you for that sooner than they will forgive you for manipulating them.
President Trump understands people. Maybe he tells 1,000 lies per day; I don't know. However, what he does, and what the Democratic Party fails to do over and over again, is to make the average person feel respected. Not pitied. Not necessarily loved. Not "understood," please, no. You know that when someone says "I understand," then whoever it is doesn't understand and is being condescending.
The way that the mainstream media has dealt with Ms. Reade's allegations is condescending. The silence was unforgivable. I don't think the media or the Democratic Party realizes how angry the Republican side of "the American people" is, and how nauseated and ashamed the Democratic side is, because of it.
He's going to win. President Trump is going to be re-elected.
