My cat has died during the years that I haven't been able to provide a safe, stable home for her. I heard about it a few weeks ago. I was quite sad for a couple of days.
Saturday Night Live knows about it because the show hacks my phone. I guess the writers think there's nothing in my life that isn't funny.
There have always been women who don't mind or even enjoy hurting other women for money or for other material gains, just as there have always been men who are happy to hurt other men. Feminism isn't accurate or effective if it idealizes women and refuses to ascribe human emotions to them such as greed and spite. The entertainment industry has always paid higher wages to women who agree to ridicule themselves or to disparage women as a group. That industy doesn't want women to tell the jokes. It wants women to be the jokes.
A fan of democracy doesn't keep mum for years about the obscene, criminal violation of the public's privacy rights.
