Alluding to my catching up on old seasons of "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" won't absolve you of knowing about crimes committed against me and many other people for a decade and doing nothing to stop those crimes. It's just going to let me know that you're hacking my phone.
It wasn't a perfect production, as time and the discernment of maturity have made clearer to me. However, it did correctly identify the Hellmouth as being located in California, which I didn't know when it was current. I thought that was a joke. I didn't realize that it was a joke that might as well be fact.
Also, I don't think of myself as a chosen one. I don't think it's helpful for people to think of themselves that way.
