I know that you aren't now requesting and never have requested help from me, so I'm sorry to remind you that my past attempts at contributing to your safe return to the United States or being given asylum in another country were unsuccessful.
I have hesitated to continue advocacy because I know that you already have people who are working on it. I'm not in contact with them and don't want to interfere. I also don't want you to be turned into a bargaining chip (read, "murdered or disappeared") because of my occasional ability to be influential about Syria.
If others want to add advocacy for your freedom of movement to their work schedules, I support their doing so.
I can't offer opinions about Mr. Assange. As I wrote in a blog page for President Trump several days ago about a different matter, I am one person and not Amnesty International.
