I finished 3 years at Ithaca College. Several years later, I transferred a lot of credits from Ithaca to the Community College of Vermont. I have an Associate's Degree from CCV but most of my credits for that degree were earned at Ithaca, not CCV.
When I started at Bunker Hill Community College in 2016, I was trying for a 2nd Associate's Degree, that time in Biotechnology. For the first time in my life since skipping a grade in elementary school, I had all A's until near the end of my first semester at Bunker Hill. I can't describe the dread that I felt when I realized that I was going to have to spend the last weeks of that semester defending myself against retaliation for asking that a student in one of my classes stop harassing me, but that was what I had to do. My studying faltered, and I ended up with 3 A's and an A- as my final grades for that semester. That was just the beginning, though. I don't want to tell that entire tragedy again now.
