Since SNL isn't offering a detailed explanation of this Tweet, I'll do so.
For a decade, SNL has strenuously defended an impressive list of worthy ideals, including but not limited to:
-equality
-privacy
-artistic freedom
-respect for the vulnerability inherent in being impoverished
-the truth
Despite its efforts, of which that Tweet is one, these ideals are as distant as ever. SNL doesn't give up, though. Its commitment to parity for women on its show is unwavering.

I guess there's nothing like receiving a care package of beer from a contender for Vice President whom you have ridiculed and who is also a sexual assault survivor to reassure you that you're on the right track about women's issues.
