I don't think that "Obsessive Love Disorder," or "OLD," affects more women than men. I think that it's considered a mental illness when women have it, and considered romantic or the fault of women when men have it.
I also think that women are more likely to ask for help with their feelings and behaviors. Unfortunately, when they ask for help, they're pathologized.
