I disagree.



Bending a knee is peaceful protest.

Nobody has the right to tell people how they have to honor American values, as long as they're not breaking the law, and even if they are sometimes breaking the law in civil disobedience.  

You have more important things to worry about.  Nowhere in the Constitution does it say that the President or anyone else has the right to dictate people's responses to symbols such as the flag.  

The flag is a symbol.  It's not a person.  It has no feelings.  It doesn't need unquestioning obedience; if it did, it wouldn't be the American flag.  

Your obsession with this issue is a waste of time.

Think of all the gestures that people make toward me, and of how much more of a violation of American ideals watching people in the bathroom is than kneeling in response to the flag.
