For the media to publish distortions ruins and endangers lives.

Women are going to be targeted all over New York State and all over the country because of what the media has done to Amy Cooper.  Women are already targeted, but now harassing women until you can get a racist statement out of them is going to add self-righteousness to that national pastime, and the possibility of being designated civil rights heroes.
