I had already signed the agreement to move out rather than be evicted for my "false accusations" of voyeurism in the apartment.  Neither the police nor anyone else involved in the case answered my emails saying that the camera detector I had bought had indicated that there were hidden, illegal cameras all over the apartment.  I couldn't risk taking the apartment apart to look for them anymore than that; it wouldn't have saved my tenancy, and the vindictive, lying assistant property manager would have charged me for every penny of the slightest damage that I might have incurred while trying to obtain more tangible evidence.
