You have a hierarchy problem. The people who have the most integrity are doing everything that they can to pretend you're not the candidate and are instead talking about Senator Harris.
Why don't you start Tweeting and talking about what you're going to do to prevent and stop sexual misconduct in the United States? Add it to your platform, and mention it every day. Request to hear what other people have to say about it.
If you're called a hypocrite, you can live with it. If additional evidence is brought forth, or the machine that supports you suddenly decides that you need to resign even though it didn't decide that months ago when you should have withdrawn, you can live with that, too.
Everyone should keep talking about these issues; they need to be addressed. If it is uncomfortable and nobody knows what to say, that's fine. You'll have to figure out what to say. You're politicians.
Maybe you don't like this idea, but in good conscience you can't quell the conversation. You have to move it forward.
