Has Ms. Carroll ever declared support for Ms. Reade? It could be that she has and I haven't done enough research to know about it.
It was horrible of Elle Magazine to fire Ms. Carroll, who had worked there for 26 years. Reading Ms. Carroll's resume, and knowing what I do know about the M&E industry, it doesn't surprise me that Ms. Reade's support of Ms. Carroll doesn't seem to have reciprocity. That industry is synonymous with selective empathy.
