The ravages of code

I am regularly having a day or days at a time when I don't leave my apartment and am easily able not to eat for an entire day.  This isn't new; the conglomerate has given me injuries that are only going to worsen for the rest of my life.  I am not convinced that I want to continue.

I need to leave my apartment and walk around among human beings, although sometimes it makes me more depressed to do that, knowing that I can't have friends without the conglomerate invading and publicizing their lives.  So I don't have friends.

After a decade and counting, code is now so elaborate that deciding what to wear can be overwhelming.  It's more important that laws against crime are respected and enforced than it is that people wear specific colors or types of clothing.
