No.
A medical professional should be involved.
Hormones are not something to mess around with.
I worked full-time as a pharmacy technician for over 2 years. I spent those working days observing how people who are taking medication think, talk and behave about their prescriptions. There are plenty of fully grown adults who take medication without knowing anything about what it does. There were also two pharmacists who told me unequivocally that hormonal birth control causes breast cancer.
When I went back to school in 2006 for my first Associate's Degree, I had no doubt what I would write my final paper about. The reading about the pharmaceutical industry's decades of scheming to put everyone in the world on drugs, the government's acquiescence to it, and the entertainment industry/media's venality in advertising for it, was so depressing that it was some of the slowest writing I have ever done. Every sentence that I read while doing the research was painful.
I support abortion rights, although I think there's a point past which a healthy mother with a nonthreatening pregnancy should not be allowed to abort a fetus. It's my guess that Planned Parenthood was originally meant to be a community organization, where everyone could obtain reproductive information and people could have discussions about sexuality, parenting, and a large range of similar topics. It's sad that anti-abortion tactics have had Planned Parenthood on such a restrictive budget for so many years and created such fear of being targeted for violence by anti-abortion protesters that Planned Parenthood has ironically never been able to expand much past providing the very services that anti-abortion activists most condemn.
It is now a foregone conclusion that children and teenagers are receiving most of their sexual education from Internet pornography. While parental controls on Internet devices are better than nothing, there's no way that they are keeping children and teenagers from seeing hours of pornography for years before their own first nonvirtual experiences. Impotence among young men is now a problem that it never was before; they are desensitized, and also probably so used to being in total control of a one-sided, exclusively visual encounter that they have anxiety, frustration, confusion or anger when they are finally in a situation with a person rather than an image. I'm not saying the species is going to die out or anything; all I'm saying is that when I was young, impotence was never even one time something I had to think about, never occurred to me, was never talked about by me or any of my friends, was not in women's magazines in articles about young men, was not an issue, ever.
I haven't seen a lot of Internet porn. I didn't even know that there was free porn all over the Internet until 2012, when I finally started to look for the videos of me that were illegally filmed in the shower of a Vermont homeless shelter in 2011. I typed something like "naked shower" at Google and was shocked that there are millions of porn videos online. I have never found the illegal videos of me ; after a while, it was too upsetting to continue to look for them.
The conglomerate hasn't stopped thinking that it's funny to tell the world to look for them.
Are there people who didn't know about the conglomerate until the past few years, who have assumed that the systemic slut-shaming of me is the result of my being filmed in the shower? I'm sure there are; the conglomerate thrives on misinformation. The conglomerate started sexually harassing me in 2010; the illegal filming in showers started in 2011. The conglomerate's gross mischaracterization of me caused me to start being treated as if I am someone who deserves to be filmed in the shower. There are no consensual nude or otherwise intimate pictures or video of me that I gave permission for anyone to take. I was a virgin until I was 27 and haven't had sex since I was 29. I'm mentioning that again, although the years for which I have already said it haven't stopped the conglomerate from slut-shaming me. I'll be 45 in a few weeks. I have already been sexually assaulted by hidden and illegal cameras in bathrooms and locker rooms today; it's like every other day. I live without my rights. So does everyone else being illegally filmed.
I'm not trying to sabotage Senator Warren's Presidential campaign. I'm trying to be informative and helpful. I am a Democrat.
