Why should the survivors of these vicious crimes have to pay for that, have to spend their lives fearful of where and when images that were removed from one website will be posted somewhere else?
There is also no reason that perpetrators of revenge porn shouldn't be registered as sex offenders. The emotional pain that they cause is neverending, and these crimes make the survivors vulnerable to harassment, stalking and violent, in-person attacks.
It's not funny. It couldn't be less funny.
