Cynthia Nixon isn't being slut-shamed, because she is part of the entertainment industry.

I'm not advocating for her to be slut-shamed.  I'm saying that what's happening to me and to EVERYONE AROUND ME is elitist and unfair.

live in hell, while she is running to be the Governor of New York.

I don't want to run for office; I just want to stop being sexually abused.  I HAVE NEVER CONSENTED TO WHAT IS HAPPENING TO ME, NOR WOULD I HAVE CONSENTED IF I WERE ASKED.  MY POVERTY-STRICKEN INABILITY TO HAVE IT STOPPED IS NOT A REASON FOR THE CONGLOMERATE TO CONTINUE TO VICTIMIZE ME.

She consented and was paid to do nude and other intimate scenes for her television show, "Sex and the City."  Not only did the characters in that show have sex, the show was about their having sex, and it was specifically about well-to-do women being given license to be crass and uncaring about men on a regular basis.

The show didn't really eliminate any stereotypes.  One episode even "vindicated" Sarah Jessica Parker's character's habit of paying several hundred dollars for a single pair of shoes, even though she was the only one of the 4 female, main characters who tended to have financial problems.

The show did not model responsible, adult relationships.  It did not model fiscal responsibility.  It did not promote education for women.

The characters of that show never talked about anything other than themselves and each other.  The rest of the world was a backdrop for them.

Some of it was funny.  Some of it was witty.  Some of it was even poignant.  Unfortunately, most of it was bitchy and shallow, and not feminist at all.

The entertainment industry, which is intertwined with and even owns a lot of the media, isn't slut-shaming her because that industry wants political power.  I, who have criticized the entertainment industry for years, couldn't have diarrhea, in the dark, in my own bathroom, in the second of two affordable housing apartments in a row in which I was criminally victimized by voyeurism, without being ridiculed.  I don't know if the hidden and illegal cameras in the first apartment recorded sound; the cameras in the second apartment recorded sound and had night vision.
