I haven't read the play and don't know what it's like. There are probably worse plays in the world.
My lack of a need for affirmation is very off-putting for other people. I had it when I was younger; I don't have it now. That doesn't mean that I always think I'm right; what it means is that I know that I am equal to everyone. I know it; it's not a theory for me. It is a fact that I have had proven to me over a lifetime of adversity.
Hopefully, 40 years from now, when I'm in my 80s, smart, old women will have as many options to choose from as they want for work.
