I don't know if you can understand what it's like to wake up suddenly in the middle of an anxiety attack caused by knowing that you're being filmed by hidden cameras while you're sleeping and everywhere in your home all the time.
My years of trying to treat voyeurs as if they are fellow human beings who will empathize and help me to stop this victimization if I can figure out what to say to them seem to be wasted years. I never succeed at humanizing them or convincing them to be less cruel; they succeed at making me into someone whom I don't want to be.
