You know what I think?
I think that the Democratic Party couldn't dispose of Representative Hill fast enough and was eager to focus on her misconduct rather than the criminality of how her misconduct was exposed. After all, there are so many fundraisers to attend in the Golden State and so many millions of votes to be tapped at celebrity social media that why should the deliberate, public humiliation of one of their colleagues by a vicious husband make them hesitate to condemn her? To defend her right to privacy and to demand a fair process of inquiry would also have meant acknowledging the issues that they have strenuously avoided addressing.
