Speaking of skin care: does the fashion/beauty industry dislike me not only because I criticize celebrities but also because I almost never wear cosmetics or high heels and because my shopping is so exclusive? Exclusively TJ Maxx, Marshalls, thrift stores, and, when I really splurge, Nordstrom Rack.
I don't hate corporations for being corporations. I have mostly worked for corporations, so I know that they can do a lot for their employees. Also, if there's an issue at work, someone who works for a corporation can take the issue to the Human Resources department. The issue might not be heard or resolved, but at least there's an HR department that's supposed to listen and resolve the issue, and sometimes it does.
It's when corporations predatorily abuse people that I object. I haven't stinted on those criticisms, nor have the abuses which I have criticized stopped. Next year, I will have spent 10 years being persecuted.
