Why would anyone put a stop to what's happening to all of those other people in the Boston area who are also being victimized, even though they don't know it?
I think about what's happening in Syria, and in other places where powerful governments are too cowardly or too greedy to stop slaughter, and I feel that this is the century of informed indifference.
