There are a lot of new apartment buildings in the Boston area.
Can the government buy them from the developers and turn them into immediate elderly and disabled housing, so that all of the elderly and disabled homeless people in the Boston area can be housed and removed from the threat of the coronavirus?
I won't be mad if you don't like the idea, President Trump. It's just that social distancing is absolutely impossible in homeless shelters; it is IMPOSSIBLE. When the virus hits the homeless population, it's going to sweep through it and there won't be the hospital beds for those people.
There are 6,000 homeless people in the Boston area. 6,000.
