I've been catching up on Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Yesterday, I finished Season 6, which aired in 2002.

Decades of negligence by every branch of government and the criminal justice system have allowed this type of crime to proliferate.
It seems to me that many politicians are aware that naked video of me has circulated for years and that they know my reports about that aren't delusional. Where do they think it's from, if they don't believe that it was all filmed illegally from hidden cameras in the places where I have said over and over again it began in 2011? What have all of these politicians told themselves and each other to excuse their lack of investigative and legislative action?
None of them seems to have disputed that there is video of me, although almost none of them seems to have tried to do anything about it. Do they not believe that there are other victims? Have they decided to believe that at some time in my life I consented to be filmed and that everything I have said about hidden cameras in homeless shelters, psychiatric units and gyms was a lie that I made up from embarrassment?
I have never consented to anything like being filmed naked or in the other situations in which this hateful crime has been repeatedly perpetrated against me for the amusement of the perpetrators. I never have and I never would, and I think that despite everything they say to convince themselves otherwise, the perpetrators know that I would never consent to it, which is why my consent was never sought and has been treated as if it doesn't matter.
Why hide a camera if you think that the people being filmed would consent if you asked them?
How many more times do I have to say No? How many more pages do I have to publish? How many more times do I have to ask that people who know that I'm telling the truth also tell the truth?
Why am I still being blamed? Why is there still anyone claiming ignorance about the scale of this type of problem?
It's not a "subculture." It is our culture.
If these women weren't considered good enough to avoid being sexually abused, then who is?
