I never thought that you were all that difficult to communicate with, despite our many differences of opinion.
Maybe the Democratic Party's guilt about its many major moral failures since 2010 caused it to refuse to consider talking to you productively, in favor of potshots for cheap laughs and portraying you as being averse to reason.
