I'm not left out. For me to be left out, there would have to be something that I wanted to be part of to which my way was blocked.
I'm persecuted, which is very different from being left out. I am not free to reject corruption and move on with my life; those who are corrupt have taken what seems to be permanent offense and have made my life as miserable as possible.
