Democracy and the balance of power

Systems that wield power, from the local level to the international level.

Journalists should be talking about power every day, so that the public has a lot of specific and general knowledge about democracy and how it's supposed to work, and so that the public can contribute productively to advances and stability.

If you don't talk about it every day, then the structure won't be there for everyone to be part of a coherent, evolving discussion.

We don't have that discussion now.  We have a discussion that casts villains and heroes and that draws from a framework of constructs.
