She didn't say anything about race. She didn't want to wear a mask, but she didn't say anything about race.
I wear the mask. The point is that her race, gender and age have nothing to do with her refusal to wear the mask, but they have everything to do with why she was filmed and why social media and traditional media are normalizing the use of the name "Karen" as a slur.
D. Giles, who had previously posted about "Karens" at Twitter, filmed three video clips of her. Now he's posting his acting head shots at Twitter, right above his last video clip of her.

In his first video of her, he calls her a "Karen" and laughs at her. At no time, during that video or any of the other videos that he films of her, does she mention race.
Newsweek didn't publish this Tweet, or the video of him laughing at her when she said she has a breathing problem.
