Pick your poison.

If you're going to keep the world a place that hurts young women and shows them some of the worst of human nature from authority figures even when they have worked hard, taken care of other people, accepted that their poverty prevents them from fulfulling their talents and done their best to turn their energy and youth toward helping others, then which of a plethora of resentful maladaptations would you rather they have as the result?

Addiction?  Promiscuity?  Child abandonment?  Lying?  Beating people up?
